Full Job Description
Plan, manage, and process changes to standard parts and reference material used predominantly in the production design process Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical Design: Assist with the design and development of systems involving Industrial PCs, digital servo drives, fieldbuses, hydraulic power units, and heat control.
  • Control Systems Development: Support the design and development of control systems for new products.
  • Schematics Creation: Help create electrical schematics, including layouts and bills of materials.
  • Cost Analysis & Design Solutions: Participate in cost analysis, specify electrical hardware, and contribute to developing new design solutions.
  • Troubleshooting & QA: Assist with troubleshooting, participate in QA activities, and support technology development for injection molding machines.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside senior team members, using Manufacturing and Design Process Methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education (Bachelor's in engineering preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • 5 or more years of electrical engineering work experience
  • Ability to adjust approach to engage, approach and manage a variety of stakeholders in a manner that demonstrates persistence (respectfully challenging) and promotes respect and a win-win mentality (minimum disruption and noise) to find optimal solutions that drive E2 E standards and performance
  • Drives improvement initiatives that will enable the continuous, fast-paced learning required to maintain closed-loop feedback. Works with team members in other campuses to implement successful initiatives
  • Ability to prioritize work activities, and make decisions in a timely manner, demonstrating poise and composure across an array of projects
  • Manages own time for maximum productivity
  • Illustrates strong attention to detail when completing tasks
