Electrical Design EngineerPosition Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes while focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Design electrical systems for commercial and residential projects using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Perform load calculations and electrical drafting to create detailed specifications.
- Develop lighting design plans and assess energy efficiency measures.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate electrical designs into overall building plans.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and standards.
- Manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to validate design implementations.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software.
- Strong knowledge of lighting design, power systems, and energy efficiency design principles.
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and tools.
- Excellent understanding of code compliance and safety standards.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
