Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems for heavy-duty trucks.
  • Document wire harness assemblies using Siemens Mentor Graphics.
  • Coordinate engineering projects using the company's Product Creation Process and Design for Six Sigma tools.
  • Manage product data control using Windchill and PCMS.
  • Create engineering documentation including component drawings and change documentation.
  • Coordinate testing and provide manufacturing and customer support.

Full Job Description
Job Duties / Responsibilities
  • Design, development, and integration of electrical systems/architectures and electronic components for heavy-duty commercial trucks utilizing Creo Parametric and Mentor Graphics.
  • Design and document wire harness assemblies using the Siemens Mentor Graphics tool suite.
  • Coordinate aspects of small to large engineering projects following company Product Creation Process (PCP) methodology and Design for Six Sigma tools to quality standards (including SAE and ISO).
  • Use of Windchill and PCMS for product data control from inception through engineering design, manufacturing, service and disposal.
  • Create engineering documentation including component drawings, diagrams, and change documentation.
  • Test coordination, manufacturing support, and customer technical support.

  • Travel up to 10% is possible as conditions allow.

Additional Job Board Information

We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for the Electrical Design Engineer is $70,500 - $105,800 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
