Full Job Description
Our industrial manufacturing client is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join their team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems to ensure efficient and safe operations within our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with Rockwell Automation Software and Hardware and experience as a project lead, which means they are supporting project management activities as well.
• Design and implement control systems for manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain HMI (Human-Machine Interface) screens and graphics.
• Manage process control networks and ensure their reliability and security.
• Vendor management, selection, and coordination.
• Develop SOWs.
• Project ownership from beginning to end for controls projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and improve process efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and automation.
• Source and implement supervisory software for plant process controls.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in control systems engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Rockwell Automation Software and Hardware.
• SCADA systems experience: RSView ME/SE. FactoryTalk View, or Ignition.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to manufacturing processes.
