Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing, focusing on preventative maintenance and repair.
• Current Journeyman license preferred for further credibility in the field.
• Basic computer skills necessary, with experience in preventative maintenance software being an advantage.
• Proficient in troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Capable of installing and troubleshooting basic industrial control circuits and equipment.
• Skilled in conduit installation, including the ability to size and bend conduit appropriately.
• Experience with electric motor disassembly, repair, and reassembly.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in the plywood and lumber mills.
• Calibrate and program industrial electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
• Diagnose faults in electrical systems and implement effective solutions.
• Work safely in an industrial setting, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Adapt to varying schedules, including overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
