Full Job Description
Be part of the Electric Power Generation Project Engineering team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Power Systems. This position will be a key focal within the Project Engineering team, working directly with Project Leadership, the Customer, and a cross-functional team. You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager, and youll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a Hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 3 Support and lead systems and test engineering efforts including requirements management, system integration, and engine development/qualification test efforts 3 Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), track project milestones, and ensure adherence to strict technical requirements 3 Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve project goals 3 Prepare and present monthly budget and schedule updates, including Control Account Management (CAM) activities 3 Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria 3 Act as the primary liaison between team leadership and customers, providing regular updates on program status and addressing any concerns Qualifications Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements YOU MUST HAVE 3 Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics. 3 Minimum of 15 years of experience in Project engineering, Test engineering, or related discipline 3 Experience with Control Account Management (CAM) WE VALUE 3 Hands-on background in New Product Development (NPD), R&D, or aerospace testing 3 Technical knowledge in Gas Turbine Engines (APU or Propulsion) 3 Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies 3 Program/control account management skills 3 Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing projects 3 Proven ability to work with minimal direction in a cross-functional team environment 3 Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders 3 Proficiency in solving technical problems through analytical thinking and innovation 3 Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities while managing multiple projects simultaneously
