As an EI&O Workplace Technology Program Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives that enable Fidelity's evolving workplace strategy. Working closely with Real Estate, Architecture & Engineering, Enterprise Infrastructure, End User Computing, Security, Product Management, and external partners, you will drive the planning, coordination, and execution of technology programs supporting office builds, renovations, relocations, and workplace modernization efforts.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

This role is responsible for leading multiple concurrent programs that span network infrastructure, wireless, telecommunications, audiovisual systems, workplace technology platforms, and end-user technology services. You will bring together diverse stakeholders, manage competing priorities, mitigate risks, and ensure successful delivery of business-critical initiatives while aligning with enterprise technology standards, operational requirements, and long-term workplace technology strategies.

Key capabilities include:
  • 10+ years experience leading and managing large-scale office renovations and campus builds, with a focus on technology rooms, structured cabling, wireless, audio-visual, smart building and end user technologies.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering cross-functional initiatives involving multiple business and technology teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Deep knowledge of program management frameworks, tools, and methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, hybrid delivery approaches, risk management, and governance practices.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop executive-level communications, facilitate steering committees, and present program status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ability to establish governance, drive accountability, and coordinate successful program execution while balancing immediate business requirements with long-term strategic objectives.
  • Experience managing external vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure successful delivery, quality outcomes, and adherence to enterprise standards.
  • Knowledge of workplace technology trends and emerging technologies, with the ability to evaluate solutions that support scalable, flexible, and future-ready workplace environments.

The Team

The EI&O Workplace Technology team is responsible for delivering infrastructure and technology solutions that enable our offices to operate effectively and scale for the future. As real estate investments expand and more teams return to onsite work, the need for consistent, forward-looking telecommunications design continues to grow.

We partner closely with real estate, construction, engineering, and technology teams to deliver secure, reliable, future-ready infrastructure that supports an excellent associate experience in every location.

Fidelity manages more than 11 million square feet of space in the United States and overseas, including thirteen North American and six international locations, two data centers and more than 200 retail investor centers.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
