KPS Global is a privately held company, owned by the Viessmann Generations Group, with more than 850 employees. We are looking for an Environmental Health & Safety Supervisor to join our EHS Team.

The EHS Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day Environmental, Health, and Safety activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and standards. This role provides hands-on leadership, oversight of safety programs, incident response, and ongoing training to support a safe and compliant workplace. The EHS Supervisor partners closely with operations leadership to drive continuous improvement in safety culture and environmental performance.

Required Skills

Safety & Health
  • Implement and maintain OSHA-compliant safety programs, policies, and procedures as part of the Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Conduct regular facility inspections, hazard assessments, and job safety analyses (JSAs)
  • Lead and/or support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
  • Coordinates with outside agency services for health and safety training, education, and government compliance regulations
  • Manage and track leading/lagging safety performance metrics
  • Provide coaching and support to supervisors and frontline employees to reinforce safe behaviors
  • Oversee the PPE program and ensure proper selection, use, and maintenance of protective equipment
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and severe weather response

Environmental Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with applicable EPA and state environmental regulations
  • Support air, water, waste, and hazardous materials management programs
  • Maintain environmental records, permits, manifests, and required regulatory documentation in accordance with ISO 14001 standards
  • Conduct inspections related to spill prevention, waste storage, and pollution prevention practices
  • Assist with environmental reporting such as Tier II, TRI, and waste generation logs, as applicable

Training
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs (e.g., lockout/tagout, hazard communication, equipment safety, ergonomics)
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure all personnel meet required competencies
  • Support onboarding orientations for new hires and contractors

Leadership & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead safety committees, toolbox talks, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Participate in audits and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Support continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing risk, improving compliance, and enhancing safety culture


Required Experience

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field; OR equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or related environment
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
  • Demonstrated experience conducting training and leading incident investigations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred
  • Supervisory or team-lead experience.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., GSP, ASP, CSP, CHST, OHST)
  • Experience with ISO 14001 / 45001 or similar management systems
  • Background in risk assessment, ergonomics, or behavior-based safety
  • Bilingual in Spanish

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk, stand, or climb for extended periods in an industrial environment
  • Capable of wearing required PPE including respirators, safety glasses, and protective clothing
  • Ability to respond to emergencies on site, including outside normal business hours

Working Conditions
  • Combination of office and plant/manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to noise, temperature variations, and industrial hazards requiring adherence to safety protocols
