Description

The EHS Manager is responsible for leading and executing the organization's environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and to drive a culture of safety and sustainability. This role plays a key leadership position in shaping EHS strategy, minimizing risk, and promoting best-in-class safety practices across all operations.

What You'll Do
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures aligned with federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.)
  • Lead EHS audits, inspections, and assessments across sites; identify gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Serve as subject matter expert on environmental compliance, hazardous waste management, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and workplace safety
  • Manage incident investigation processes including root cause analysis, reporting, corrective actions, and follow-ups
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees and leadership
  • Monitor and analyze EHS metrics and KPIs to evaluate effectiveness and drive strategic decisions
  • Ensure emergency preparedness and response plans are updated, communicated, and tested regularly
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, HR, legal, and engineering to embed EHS into the business culture
  • Supervise and mentor EHS staff or site-level coordinators (if applicable)
  • Support sustainability initiatives, environmental reporting, and climate-related disclosures where needed
