About the Job

The EHS Manager is responsible for leading and managing all environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety across the organization. This role partners with leadership to develop strategic initiatives that reduce risk, prevent incidents, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee EHS policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Lead safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across operations.
  • Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive safety culture through leadership engagement, training, and employee involvement.
  • Manage environmental programs including waste management, air emissions, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Track, analyze, and report EHS metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
  • Lead emergency preparedness and response planning.
  • Oversee workers' compensation cases and return-to-work programs.
  • Collaborate with operations, HR, and leadership to integrate safety into daily business processes.
  • Manage and mentor EHS staff or site safety personnel.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of EHS experience, with leadership or management responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience leading audits, investigations, and safety programs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
