Full Job Description
ABOUT THE JOB

The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Systems & Analytics Specialist is responsible for the quality, integrity, and presentation of EHS and sustainability data across the enterprise. This role owns the metrics, dashboards, and reporting that EHS, business leadership, and the Board use to understand safety and sustainability performance, and makes certain that the data behind those reports is complete, accurate, and traceable to a defined source.

This position also owns the company's safety observation and close call program, and supports the EHS Operations, Environmental, and Sustainability teams in tracking compliance obligations, analyzing audit results, and responding to audit and records requests. Because much of this data is confidential medical or personal information, the Specialist is responsible for the controls that protect employee privacy in everything EHS publishes.

This position does not own recordability determinations or the OSHA 300 logs, which remain with the EHS Operations team. Instead, the Specialist makes certain the underlying data is complete and accurate, and that required reports are completed and filed on time.

The Specialist partners with site EHS teams, the Environmental and Sustainability managers, Legal, and Anduril's data and software teams, and builds breadth across safety, environmental, and sustainability disciplines with support for professional certification.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Data Management, Quality & Privacy
  • Serve as the data steward for EHS and sustainability data, owning the definition and documented source of every metric the function publishes.
  • Audit data completeness, classification consistency, and accuracy across sites, and partner with site EHS teams to correct the root causes of poor data entry.
  • Define and maintain the standards for how EHS events are recorded and classified, so data is comparable across campuses.
  • Own the controls that protect employee privacy in published data, including minimum cell sizes, suppression of small and complementary cells, reporting rates rather than counts, and exclusion of narrative text and personal identifiers from broadly visible reporting.
  • Partner with Legal and the data teams on appropriate access, permissions, and handling of confidential medical and personal information.

Metrics, Dashboards & Executive Reporting
  • Design, build, and maintain the EHS dashboards used by EHS, site leadership, and business leaders.
  • Develop and maintain leading indicator metrics, including reporting participation, corrective action closure and aging, and other measures of management system effectiveness.

EHS and Sustainability Systems and Analytics Specialist9/29/2026
  • Produce recurring executive and Board-level reporting, translating safety and sustainability data into clear narratives and recommendations.
  • Explain and defend any published figure, including why a rate moved and what the underlying cases were.
  • Provide performance data and trend analysis to support management review.
  • Build and maintain automated data pipelines and reporting so recurring analysis does not depend on manual assembly.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, reporting, and tool development, applying sound judgment in validating AI-generated output before it informs a decision.

Safety Observation and Close Call Program
  • Own the company's safety observation and close call program, including intake quality, classification, routing, and reporting.
  • Drive observations and corrective actions to closure, confirming each item has an owner and a due date, and escalating what stalls.
  • Close the loop with reporters so people who raise a concern learn what was done about it.
  • Analyze observation and close call data for hazard trends, participation patterns, and leading indicators of serious injury potential.
  • Develop and run the mechanism for propagating lessons learned across sites so a hazard identified at one campus reaches the others.

Audit Analysis & Records
  • Analyze internal and external audit results for trends, repeat findings, and systemic issues across sites, and report what the pattern indicates.
  • Track audit findings and corrective actions to closure, and analyze recurrence to show whether corrective actions are effective.
  • Respond to audit and records requests from internal auditors, certification bodies, customers, and regulators by locating, verifying, and packaging the required evidence.
  • Participate as a team member on internal EHS management system audits, building toward lead auditor capability.

Regulatory & Sustainability Reporting Support
  • Support the EHS Operations team in completing and filing OSHA recordkeeping and injury reporting on time, including reconciling case data and driving the annual 300A posting cycle to completion across sites.
  • Support the Environmental Manager and site environmental teams in tracking compliance obligations - maintaining the status of permits, recurring reporting deadlines, and required records, and reporting clearly on what is complete, outstanding, or at risk.
  • Support the Sustainability Manager with data collection, quality assurance, analysis, and reporting for greenhouse gas inventory, energy and water consumption, waste diversion, and applicable customer, contract, and climate disclosure reporting.
  • Maintain a consolidated view of upcoming regulatory and sustainability reporting deadlines and their status.

EHS Systems & Integration
  • Serve as the EHS system owner and subject matter expert for the EHS digital toolset, including configuration, permissions, workflows, and data structures.
  • Represent EHS requirements in the development of the company's in-house EHS management system on Foundry - writing requirements, pressure-testing the data model against how events are actually reported, running user acceptance testing, and driving adoption after launch.
  • Partner with Anduril's data and software teams on integrations between EHS data and the systems other functions own, including engineering and manufacturing platforms, asset management, HR, and learning management, and verify that what is delivered is correct.

EHS and Sustainability Systems and Analytics Specialist9/29/2026
    • Train and support end users on dashboards, tools, and workflows, including onboarding documentation and troubleshooting.
    • Identify and implement opportunities to replace manual processes with automated, scalable solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in EHS, sustainability, or a compliance-focused data or analytics role.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and injury recordkeeping requirements.
  • Strong data skills in practice: advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and the demonstrated ability to clean, join, validate, and interpret messy real-world datasets.
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards or reports that other people relied on for decisions.
  • Experience handling confidential or sensitive personal information appropriately.
  • Experience with AI-assisted analysis and development tools, and sound judgment in validating their output.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data clearly to non-technical audiences and recommend a course of action.
  • Strong organizational skills and the persistence to drive items owned by others to completion across a large organization.
  • Ability to travel to other campuses as needed, approximately 15% of the time.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with EHS information management systems such as VelocityEHS, Cority, Intelex, Gensuite, or KPA, particularly as a system administrator.
  • Experience building dashboards in Foundry, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Python or SQL, or with a low-code platform such as Airtable, Smartsheet, or Power Platform, sufficient to build and maintain tools independently.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system principles, internal auditing, or supporting a certification or surveillance audit.
  • Experience with environmental compliance reporting such as hazardous waste, Tier II, TRI, stormwater, or air permits.
  • Experience with greenhouse gas accounting, energy or utility data, waste diversion tracking, or other sustainability and ESG reporting.
  • Experience with data privacy, de-identification, or statistical disclosure control in any field.
  • Manufacturing, construction, aerospace, or defense experience.
  • Incident investigation or root cause analysis training.
  • Professional certifications such as Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) are a plus.
  • Natural tendency towards challenging the status quo to find new and novel ways to improve EHS management systems.
  • A person who leans into challenges instead of saying 'no' and walking away.
