Effective Practice Specialist - School Psychology

JOB DESCRIPTION LINK

Your school psychology experience can impact more than your own caseload. In the Effective Practice Specialist role with Special School District (SSD), you will use that expertise to guide and support school psychologists serving students across St. Louis County. As a resource, coach, and thought partner, you will help staff strengthen their practice, work through complex situations, and continue developing professionally. You will also collaborate with administrators and school teams to support consistent practices and meet special education evaluation requirements. Your work will help build the knowledge and confidence of other professionals while strengthening the services students and families receive.

EPS staff work in SSD's Central Office, 12110 Clayton Rd., Town & Country, MO, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Education and Experience
  • Graduate degree at the specialist level (e.g., Ed.S.) in school psychology required
  • 3 years of experience as a school psychologist required


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education certification in school psychology required


Salary
  • $90,000/year based on education and experience
