As a Registered Nurse Education Specialist, you will:
• Onboard/Orient newly hired staff
• Assess competency and evaluation of performance
• Provide continuing nursing education
• Identify practice gaps and learning needs
• Develop an appropriate education plan based on professional practice gaps and learning needs
• Assist nurses in preparation for certification in specialty
• Coordinate, facilitate and evaluate activities that promote professional role development
• Perform as nurse planner and provides contact hours for educational offerings
Education & Experience
Qualified Candidates will possess:
• BSN required, MSN preferred
• 2 years in clinical specialty
• 2 years of nursing education experience preferred
• 1 year in leadership role preferred (includes charge nurse, preceptor)
• Certification in clinical specialty or nursing professional development within one year of hire
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken required
Work Schedule:
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Hours per Week: 40 hours/week
- Typical Daily Schedule: MOnday - Friday 8am-4pm
- Shift Type: Day Shift
- Holiday Requirements: Follow company holiday calendar
Pay Range:$77,313.60 - $115,980.80
