Full Job Description

Leidos is seeking an eDiscovery Technical Project Manager to work on-site in support of the Department of Justice in Washington, DC. Be one of the first to dedicate your skills and talent to a newly formed division of the Department of Justice, National Fraud Enforcement Division.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, and maintain overall project plans and schedules that adhere to defined policies

  • Implement project management services in accordance with policies

  • Participate in the continuous improvement cycle by recommending improvements to project management policies, processes, and procedures

  • Organize and manage project staff into a cohesive team to achieve mission goals and performance objectives

  • Assist Government project managers in developing, updating, and maintaining project plans and schedules as required

  • Manage projects based on requirements specific to the agency and the principles of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the industry standard for project management training and certification

  • Identify issues and risks to project success, develop risk management tracking log and log all identified issues / risks in the log, along with issue/risk mitigation recommendations / plans, and facilitate issue resolution and risk mitigation as required by the Government

  • Provide other project management support services as it relates to automated litigation support

  • Provide Project Management Deliverables as part of the governance process

  • Review and update the data collection templates quarterly to reflect changes in the environment

  • Implement any legal, regulatory, or contractual information security requirements that are applicable, and inform the DOJ of any additional or changed requirements

  • Provide periodic security and compliance reporting guidelines

  • Provide security and compliance reports as required

  • Provide support for application assessments including audit activities, audit issue management services and closure of issues after audit

  • Participate in the continuous improvement cycle by recommending improvements to innovation policies, processes, and procedures

  • Communicate innovation project progress to all appropriate stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's (or equivalent) and 5+ years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience on major litigation support projects, including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing and eDiscovery support activities. 

  • Requires expert knowledge of litigation support; outstanding writing skills; excellent oral communication skills; and excellent management skills. 

  • Must be able to anticipate litigation support needs and develop and execute detailed plans for addressing those needs. 

  • Requires knowledge of the Government's data processing environment in which the work is to be performed, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, and internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as but not limited to Oracle, Relativity Server, RelOne, or other document review platform, Nuix, Axiom, and Trial Director. 

  • Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources required. 

  • Should be an expert user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware and document review platforms

  • Undergraduate degree required.  Substantial significant experience may in some cases be substituted for degree requirement.

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Desired Qualifications

  • Law degree, technical certification, or other pertinent graduate degree.

  • Experience conducting searches, creating STRs, document review, creating coding layouts, and supervising document review in Relativity or RelOne.

  • Legal knowledge regarding the accessing and handling of seized evidence

  • Experience in the handling of large document reviews exceeding 1 million records

  • Knowledge of large IT and Cloud systems

  • Knowledge of forensics

Please note: while our salary range is quite wide, the specific salary range for this position is $115,000-$118,000.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
