Full Job Description
An Emergency Department (ED) Nurse Manager is a Registered Nurse who oversees the daily operations and nursing staff within the ED, ensuring efficient and safe patient care. They are responsible for managing resources, implementing policies, and addressing issues that arise within the department. Their role also includes staff management, budget oversight, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Education Required: Graduate of accredited school of Nursing
License(s) Required: Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in NYS, BLS, ACLS certification
Experience/Skills: Minimum of three (3) years' experience including one year in a leadership position. Evidence of excellent communication, interpersonal organization, critical thinking, problem solving and leadership skills.
****Overnight manager with some flexibility for meetings off shift
