The Role and Impact:
  • Owns end-to-end execution of product development for eCOTS solutions, including backlog prioritization, user story definition, and Agile delivery alignment. Partners with stakeholders define product vision and roadmap while ensuring delivery teams execute against clearly defined priorities. Operates within a semiconductor and integrated hardware/software environment with alignment to U.S. Government (USG) and Defense Industrial Base (DIB) requirements.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, including prioritization, refinement, and alignment to program objectives
  • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and Product Requirements Documentation (PRDs) to support delivery execution
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap aligned to business goals and stakeholder inputs
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, release planning, and retrospectives
  • Translate business needs, customer requirements, and market inputs into actionable product features
  • Communicate backlog priorities clearly and influence delivery team execution focus
  • Ensure delivery teams understand backlog items and dependencies required for execution
  • Collaborate with engineering and stakeholders to negotiate scope, manage trade-offs, and commit to deliverables
  • Evaluate completed work and provide ongoing feedback to ensure product quality and alignment
  • Support product vision development ("north star") in partnership with stakeholders
  • Contribute to financial and decision-quality analysis (e.g., market modeling, Net Present Value)
  • Support Sales and Marketing enablement activities to drive product adoption


Technical Domain Alignment:
  • Semiconductor design, architecture, or product lifecycle management
  • Integrated hardware + software (solution creation) environments
  • USG or DIB ecosystem experience preferred


Experience managing:
  • Product roadmaps
  • User stories and acceptance criteria
  • Product backlogs in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Proven ability to lead Agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, business stakeholders, and delivery teams
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business and customer requirements into actionable product features
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence delivery teams and stakeholders


Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or related role


Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Product Owner in semiconductor or technical product environments

Background in one or more of the following:
  • Semiconductor design or architecture
  • Semiconductor product development or lifecycle management
  • Integrated hardware/software solution development
  • Experience working within U.S. Government (USG) or Defense Industrial Base (DIB) environments
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, decision-quality frameworks, or market analysis
  • Experience supporting Sales/Marketing enablement
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or relevant technical discipline)
  • Experience working in regulated, compliance-driven, or audit-sensitive environments
