Please note that this role is hybrid to our Brea, CA location.The eCommerce Manager is responsible for the profitable growth and overall performance of assigned product categories on Monoprice.com. This position serves as the business owner for assigned categories and is accountable for sales, gross margin, inventory productivity, assortment strategy, pricing, promotions, merchandising, and customer experience. The role works cross-functionally with Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Content, Retail, Marketplace, and Sales teams to achieve corporate objectives.
The ideal candidate would be self-sufficient, able to thrive in ambiguity and constant change, expert in ecommerce strategies and roadmaps, and can drive results across business and technical teams.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities - Own category revenue, gross margin, contribution profit, and inventory productivity for assigned product categories.
• Develop annual, quarterly, monthly, and daily promotional business plans to achieve financial objectives.
• Monitor sales, margin, conversion, traffic, average order value, inventory turns, and in-stock performance.
• Manage category assortment strategy, including product introductions, rationalization, end-of-life planning, and lifecycle management.
• Lead product launch execution including pricing, inventory readiness, merchandising, content, and promotional planning.
• Develop and maintain competitive pricing strategies balancing profitability, competitiveness, inventory position, and market demand.
• Analyze competitive landscape, customer behavior, market trends, tariffs, landed costs, and freight impacts.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Product Management to forecast demand and improve inventory availability.
• Identify and execute strategies to reduce excess inventory and improve inventory health.
• Own onsite merchandising including category pages, product placement, search optimization, navigation, cross-sell opportunities, and promotional placement.
• Ensure product content, imagery, specifications, attributes, and merchandising presentation meet company standards.
• Partner with Marketing to execute promotional campaigns and merchandising initiatives.
• Leverage analytics tools to identify growth opportunities and business risks.
• Prepare business reviews and recommendations for leadership.
• Support strategic projects and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONSEducation & Experience
- BA in business related major is required. Master's degree is a plus
- Must have 6+ previous years of on -hands experience managing ecommerce operations or sites
- Ability to understand and translate website analytical data (CTR, CR, BR, and others)
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM
- Experience with GA4, Tableau, BI tools, ERP systems, PIM systems, or similar platforms.
- Avid user of AI and agentic workflows
