We are currently hiring for the following location(s):
  • PRCS, 742 Miller Drive SE, Leesburg, VA
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Program Implementation: Facilitate the implementation of creative preschool programs that respond to the diverse learning approaches and developmental levels of children.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with educators to guide and support them in establishing and implementing program goals and academic curricula, ensuring alignment with best practices in early childhood education.
  • Instructional Leadership: Organize demonstration lessons, assess teaching methods, and offer mentorship and coaching to educators, showcasing effective strategies and techniques for early childhood instruction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct classroom observations and assessments offering constructive feedback and strategies to enhance classroom interactions and teaching techniques and ensure optimal outcomes for children.
  • Family Engagement: Support centers in developing and applying family engagement practices that empower families, in alignment with the Parent, Family, and Community Engagement (PFCE) Frameworks.
  • Additional Responsibilities: You may also undertake other specific duties as assigned to meet departmental goals and enhance our early childhood initiatives
Hiring salary commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a field related to the assigned program or department and two (2) years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current CLASS certification for preschool, and/or infant/toddler.
  • Experience developing and facilitating professional development trainings.

Job Contingencies and Special Requirements

Must undergo criminal, fingerprinting, Child Protective Service (CPS), and DMV background checks. TB screening questions must be passed prior to hire and every two years thereafter. A sworn disclosure statement or affirmation must be completed, detailing any criminal convictions or pending criminal charges, at the time of employment and every five years following that initial submission. First Aid (Infant through Adult)/CPR certifications prior to hire or within 30 days of hire. Certification in CLASS is expected within 12 months of hire.
