Job Overview:The E-Commerce Merchandising Manager is responsible for overseeing the online merchandising strategy and driving the growth and performance of the business. This role emphasizes sales growth, conversion improvement, and enhancing the customer shopping experience through effective management of product assortment, pricing, visual presentation, and promotional strategies. The ideal candidate will act as the voice of the company to third-party delivery providers like DoorDash and Uber Eats, building and managing these programs while ensuring alignment with business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to build a program from the ground up with long-term potential to own and scale the e-commerce business.
Responsibilities:- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on the Pricebook components of back-office systems (PDI).
- Analyze complex data and processes, recommending comprehensive, data-driven solutions.
- Retrieve, merge, and assess data for ad-hoc and standard reporting; identify outliers and inaccuracies.
- Manage the dashboard creation process, from sourcing data to dashboard delivery.
- Develop and communicate project plans, team roles, goals, and timelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
- Create business requirements, use cases, and testing scenarios for system enhancements.
- Act as an escalation point for issue resolution across Merchandising, Operations, Accounting, and IT.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience in retail, merchandising, or a related field (preferred).
- High computer literacy with systems such as SQL, Power BI, Databricks, Access, MicroStrategy, and Tableau.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Salary Range: $120-130k + Bonus
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
