Essential Job Functions for Supervisory Role:- Monitors and supervises all gaming tables in assigned pit
- Supervises player tracking process
- Open and close Table Games in assigned area verifying count as provided by the dealer
- Inspect card decks prior to play
- Track and record player buy-ins, wins, losses and bet amounts
- Monitor bets and payouts and correct as needed
- Complete rating cards for players
- Initiate and verify fills to tables
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints or concerns in accordance with standard procedures
- Maintain security of all games, monies and personnel
- Must respond calmly and makes rational decisions when handling guest issues
- Participates in preparing and delivering written evaluations
- Coaches team members for success while they are dealing on and off a game
- Responsible for enforcing policies and procedures of the company
- Must be alert to any unusual or questionable activity by team members and guests and take appropriate action to correct the situation within established policies and procedures
- Monitor the volume and quality of pit business and adjust table limits as appropriate within established policy
- Essential Job Functions for Dealer:
- Performs the act of mechanically dealing a game in a proficient manner, according to current Company policies and procedures, applicable gaming regulations and meeting required rounds per hour by game type
- Responsible for handling guest transactions and notifying Table Games Supervisor of any irregularities while advising a Table Games Supervisor or Pit Manager of any disputes or arguments that may arise during the game among players/dealer
- Exchanges currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to house rules in an accurate manner
- Supports and maintains guest service standards at all times while promoting outstanding guest relations
- Assists with the cleanliness of the casino property front and heart of house.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:- Equivalent to a high school diploma with knowledge of game and dealing techniques. 1-2 years dealing or supervisory experience is preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have strong leadership skills with a clear focus on guest service and team member relations as a priority
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to staff or customers and other employees of the organization
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
- Ability to communicate with Team members and guests
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
