Job DescriptionPosition has responsibility for coordination of all activities on assigned projects. Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned engineering and project work; monitors work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and Nabors standards; tracks and updates project schedules and financial reports; ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants.
Responsibilities- Support Company objectives to execute assigned projects ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, while meeting all technical and contractual requirements.
- Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and managerial aspects of projects.
- Develop project Authorization for Expenditure's (AFE) and submit for approval.
- Prepare material requisitions and technical input for subcontract packages.
- Provide technical oversight on projects, review and check engineering for conformity with design requirements.
- Interface with suppliers, customers and subcontractors during project planning and execution.
- Ensure all QA/QC aspects of the project including engineering, third party review/monitoring, and documentation requirements are followed and complete in accordance with Company, industry, and project specific requirements.
- Coordinate project scheduling and reporting.
- Complete budget monitoring and trend tracking.
- Through lessons learned on projects, provides input for continuous improvement.
- Supervise two or more rig-up crews in the yard, including performance evaluations, disciplinary documentation, and overall productivity.
- In addition to project work, assist in daily operations of the Engineering & Technical Services department including developing equipment specifications, design standards, and work instructions and providing engineering support to the Nabors fleet.

Qualifications- Minimum Bachelors of Science degree in the field of Engineering.
- Must possess knowledge and skills in modern office procedures and methods including but are not limited to:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in engineering.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience within the oil and gas industry; experience in drilling operations preferred.
- Knowledge of codes and standards (ANSI, API, ASME, etc.) applicable to the oil and gas industry and the ability to research codes and standards as needed.
- General knowledge of safety and environmental regulations/requirements.
- Ability to recognize and assess risk associated with safety and environmental aspects.
- Must be capable of utilizing effective time management skills and meeting project deadlines.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Must possess flexibility and the capacity to handle wide range of situations and personalities.
- Must demonstrate competency in business software packages such as Word, Excel, Access including charting and graphing. Familiarity with AutoCAD software a plus. Must be able to travel as needed.
