Product Owner

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and stand up a new value stream, acting as the first DPO on the team
  • Develop and implement processes to establish and maintain a healthy backlog
  • Define and enforce structure, guardrails, feature definitions, and requirements
  • Own the product development lifecycle and ensure delivery remains on track
  • Translate business requirements into technical direction for IT teams
  • Provide overall product ownership, including roadmap alignment and execution oversight
  • Support a platform migration from legacy mainframe systems to AWS, requiring both backend and frontend understanding
  • Deliver structure, organization, and execution discipline to the team

Required:
  • 7+ years of Digital Product Owner (DPO) experience
  • 7+ years of experience independently standing up projects and managing backlog health
  • Proven experience owning guardrails, feature definitions, and requirements
  • Strong ability to operate in ambiguous or evolving environments
  • Experience with Jira
  • Financial services industry experience
  • Broad technical acumen across systems and applications

Preferred:
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) experience
  • Experience with property products
  • Background in engineering or architecture prior to moving into a DPO role
