Full Job Description
At DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando, the Director of Safety & Security is more than a security leader. This role is a valued member of our guest service team and serves as our Lead Safety Ambassador for both guests and associates. Working collaboratively across all departments, this leader fosters a culture where safety, hospitality, and service excellence go hand in hand.

Success in this position requires a passion for creating a welcoming environment while maintaining the highest standards of safety and security. By embracing our service culture, building strong relationships with guests and associates, and leading by example, the Director of Safety & Security helps ensure that every guest experience is both memorable and secure.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, or a related field required; hotel or related industry experience preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in safety and security management, including business, people, administrative, preventative, investigatory practices, and legal responsibilities such as OSHA compliance.
  • Valid state driver's license and completion of required state security training, background checks, and certifications (CPR, First Aid, AED, and AHLA Certified Lodging Security Supervisor within 60 days of hire).
