Full Job Description
Polsinelli is seeking a Docket Specialist to join our centralized docketing team.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review, analyze, and interpret pleadings, court orders, notices, and other legal documents to identify and calculate critical deadlines in accordance with applicable court rules, statutes, local procedures, and Firm docketing protocols
  • research and interpret Federal, State, and Local rules and procedures across multiple jurisdictions
  • Enter, update, and maintain deadlines and other critical dates in the Firm's centralized docketing system
  • Perform quality-control reviews of docket entries and deadline calculations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Firm procedures
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff on understanding all aspects of docketing and processes in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist Docketing team members as backup and provide additional support as needed
  • Actively interact and collaborate with team members to provide deliverables and service to the highest and most sustainable level of quality and professionalism.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Assume additional duties and/or responsibilities, as requested

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years of docketing, relevant legal support, or equivalent experience in a law firm or legal services environment is required
  • Experience with Aderant CompuLaw or other docketing systems preferred
  • College degree and/or paralegal certification (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook


The budgeted salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000.
