Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and train personnel
  • Mentor supervisors to enhance team performance
  • Monitor and adjust daily PM dock operations
  • Increase scanning compliance for inbound and outbound shipments
  • Monitor forklift staffing assignments
  • Reduce misdirects and damages on shipments
  • Conduct customer shipment audits as needed
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines
  • Cross-train staff for daily dock coverage
  • Respond to last-minute shipment requests

Full Job Description
We are currently looking for an LTL Operations Manager for our Vaughan terminal.

Job ID: TOROPS2026

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday from 10:00pm to 6:30am

Position Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: Up to $85,000, will be based on experience

Workplace address: 9501 Hwy 50 Vaughan, ON L4H 2B9

You will be required to:
• Supervise, coach and train personnel

. Coach, train and mentor your supervisors
• Daily PM Dock performance, monitoring and adjustments
• Increase Scanning Compliance, both Inbound & Outbound

. PM Reweigh and Recube, improve revenue capture on the Dock

. Monitor/Assign Forklift Staff

. Reduce miss-directs and damages on customer shipments

. Customer shipment audits when required

. Ensure employees follow health & safety guidelines

. Cross train staff to ensure adequate dock coverage daily

. Action on all last-minute shipment requests
