Overview

We are seeking a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) / Data Security Specialist to act as a Subject Matter Expert in DLP, data protection, and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM).

The role will focus on modernizing DLP capabilities, supporting the migration from Symantec DLP to Microsoft Purview Endpoint DLP, and developing an integrated data-centric security approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead/support migration from Symantec DLP to Microsoft Purview Endpoint DLP.
  • Conduct DLP gap analysis and identify policy and control coverage differences.
  • Develop recommendations and compensating controls to address identified gaps.
  • Support phased implementation, policy migration, testing, validation, and change management.
  • Assess DLP maturity and recommend improvements to operational effectiveness.
  • Identify current-state vs. target-state security gaps and develop execution plans.
  • Align DSPM capabilities with DLP controls to improve data visibility, classification, monitoring, and protection.
  • Provide DLP expertise and guidance to cybersecurity and technical teams.
  • Develop technical documentation, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps.


  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, DLP, or data protection.
