Job SummaryDivisional Operations Controller - Commissary & Regional Finance Support
Position Summary:The Divisional Operations Controller is responsible for overseeing financial operations for a high-volume commissary operation in the Dallas market while supporting broader regional finance initiatives across the East region. This role combines on-site financial ownership with regional leadership support responsibilities including training, forecasting, budgeting, auditing, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee commissary financial operations including inventory, production costs, transfers, and revenue tracking
- Lead monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Develop and manage annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Perform financial analysis and provide actionable insights to operations leadership
- Lead training and onboarding for Controllers and GMs across the region
- Ensure compliance with company policies and support audits and internal control reviews
- Drive system accuracy and reporting consistency across platforms
- Support Regional Controller with various projects
- Supporting Texas and Arkansas
- Travel 25% - 30%
Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-8+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations finance
- Experience in foodservice, hospitality, or commissary operations preferred
- Strong experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
- Proven ability to lead training and support multi-unit operations
