About The Role

Arbor Homes/Elite Homes, one of the largest homebuilders in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky, is currently looking to hire a Division President to manage the Louisville Kentucky Division. The job entails working in a fast-paced, team environment while managing teams responsible for all phases of the homebuilding process. Will be responsible for the division's land acquisition and development, home sales, construction, and operations to meet the division's business plans. What Will You Be Doing?
  • Manage all aspects of the Louisville Division including consolidated financials P/L and Balance Sheet.
  • Teach Coach and Develop direct reports responsible for Land, Sales, Purchasing, and Operations teams within the division.
  • Work with Arbor's National Strategy Team and other National Team members to align division with the company's short and long range goals.
  • Responsible for engagement and morale of Division team members.
  • Responsible for Customer Experience of all customers.
  • Ensure Land availability and delivery complies with short and long term needs for sales and asset management.
  • Manage Purchasing and Operations to achieve operational excellence.
  • Manage Sales with an aim at being a price leader while achieving gross margin goals.
  • Responsible for G&A and overhead spend of the division.
  • Teach, Coach, and Develop direct reports to achieve maximize their individual growth and maximize their individual and the company's opportunity.
  • Ensure the team aligns with the core values of Family, Opportunity, Customers, Ethics, and Processes.
  • Put as many people in homes as possible, especially those who didn't think they could afford home ownership.

What Will You Bring?
  • Bachelor's degree in business or construction management and meet the minimum requirement for number of years of direct experience.
  • Five years' experience in management of a residential homebuilder (with a production builder preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in the home building industry, preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal - to communicate effectively with engineers, municipalities, and peers.
  • Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to leadership and key business partners and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to coach and develop and team.
  • Ability to learn quickly on the job.
  • Ability to be a team player with a positive attitude looking to contribute positively to the company culture and maintain a personal and team development growth mindset.
