We currently seek a Division Finance Manager to join our Village, supporting our southern operating group, Galaxy. The Division Finance Manager will join a team of field finance leaders to partner with and support Divisional operations leaders (DVPs) of this $1B+ business with approximately 6,000 teammates. We're looking for someone with a strong analytical and financial background, the ownership mindset to consistently and proactively seek ways to improve the business, the leadership ability to operationalize new ideas and insights. In addition, this person will be a key thought partner and work closely with the Group Finance Director, Corporate Finance teams and other field operations and clinical teams.

This teammate is an integral partner in supporting the operating clinics under his/her assigned division(s). This teammate functions as the highest-level finance leader within assigned division(s) and acts as a strategic partner and advisor to Divisional Vice President(s). Typical divisions have approximately 50 clinics and $200M revenue. Teammate will take a leadership role in each of the categories listed below through a strong partnership with Division Vice Presidents and the Group's finance team. This role is an integral player in driving successful business outcomes.

The Division Finance Manager reports to the Senior Group Finance Director. This teammate is an integral partner in supporting the operating cost centers under his/her assigned division. Teammate will take a leadership role in each of the categories listed below through a strong partnership with the Division Vice President, Regional Operation Directors, Facility Administrators and the Group's finance team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Management
  • Monthly financial/operations reviews - provides analysis on variance to budget, identifies major wins and focus areas, partners in developing action plans where applicable, presents monthly performance to divisional and group leadership team
  • Forecasting - divisional lead for bottoms-up approach on 3 year strategic planning; works with Regional Directors and the Divisional Vice President to complete plans for all locations (existing and projected); provides analysis and recommendations
  • Budgeting - bottoms-up approach for all cost centers assigned; hospital, regional and divisional analysis, reporting and presentation of final budgets
  • Capital Expenditures - strong partnership with the Divisional Vice President, Regional Directors and biomed team to prioritize, manage and track spending
  • Ad Hoc requests - in partnership with Regional Directors and the Division Vice President, identifies opportunities for operational improvement; provide ad hoc analysis and recommendations
  • Training - provides structured financial training to new field teammates and existing teammates as needed; trains Regional Directors and the Division Vice President on forecast and budget templates and processes
  • Reporting - maintains current data for divisional dashboards and other ad hoc tools / reports
  • Compensation - supports the development, rollout and monitoring of various bonus / profit sharing plans throughout the division

Growth Management
  • Growth strategy sessions - partners with Regional Directors and the Division Vice President to analyze, review and recommend overall divisional strategy including existing cost center growth, new business growth, acquisitions, physician partnerships, hospital partnerships, and other factors
  • May be assigned specific financial group responsibilities which will require coordination across all group divisions and interaction with Division Vice Presidents and Regional Operations Directors outside of your assigned division(s)
  • Will be asked to represent group on committees for Village (Company)-wide financial projects such as design of company forecasting and budgeting templates
  • Will be asked to train new hires to the group finance team

Other
  • Will perform other duties as requested or assigned

The Salary Range for the role is $105,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year.
