About the Opportunity: As Division Chief, you will lead and expand a premier clinical program encompassing a range of high-impact services including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, MRI, CT and interventional procedures all performed at the Duke Children's Hospital. You will collaborate with Pediatricians and Surgeons in multidisciplinary working groups and interact with outstanding residents and fellows. Your leadership will directly influence clinical practice, clinical research, and the educational mission.

Join Duke's Pediatric Imaging program:
  • Work with state-of-the-art equipment including an expanding lineup of photon counting CT scanners and modern 1.5 and 3T MRI scanners.
  • Foster collaborations with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Engage in rich teaching opportunities within one of the nation's largest and most prestigious radiology residency and fellowship training programs, mentoring approximately 50 residents and overseeing the fellowship program.
  • Benefit from Duke's research infrastructure, inclusive of biostatistical and administrative support, and generous dedicated academic and administrative time.
  • With support from the State of North Carolina, Duke University and the University of North Carolina are partnering to build a new 500 bed stand-alone dedicated Children's Hospital.

  • Board-certified in Radiology, with subspecialty fellowship training in Pediatric Imaging.
  • Proven record of academic achievement, including high-impact peer-reviewed publications, focused thematic research, and/or successful acquisition of grant funding.
  • Demonstrated excellence and commitment in providing high-quality clinical care.
  • Eligibility for appointment at Duke University at the academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
  • Strong history of scholarly contributions and a clear passion for advancing the field of academic medicine.
  • Leadership experience.
