Libbey is hiring a
District Sales Manager to lead and grow foodservice sales across the Great West District, with primary responsibility for the Las Vegas/Great West territory and surrounding markets. This role includes maintaining and growing existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, leading district sales execution, and strengthening Libbey's position with key dealer, distributor, and end-user partners.
The
District Sales Manager will serve as the commercial leader for the district, providing direction and accountability for territory planning, pipeline development, CRM discipline, customer engagement, forecasting accuracy, and business performance. This position will lead, coach, and develop Territory Sales Managers while collaborating cross-functionally to support growth and customer success.
In addition to district leadership responsibilities, the
District Sales Manager will own and cultivate strategic dealer and distribution relationships that drive share growth, product penetration, and execution excellence across the Great West region.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and execute an annual district business plan focused on growth, share expansion, strategic account development, and new business generation.
- Lead, coach, and develop Territory Sales Managers by establishing clear expectations, performance goals, and accountability measures.
- Drive pipeline management discipline through CRM and sales planning tools, ensuring accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and business visibility.
- Define new strategies for growth within the foodservice channel by targeting key end-user segments and partnering with sales and marketing on programs and new products.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within key foodservice segments, including chains, hospitality, healthcare, education, and non-commercial markets.
- Act as the primary executive sponsor and relationship owner for key dealer, distributor, and strategic channel partners throughout the Vegas/Great West District.
- Develop joint business plans with priority dealer partners to drive growth, increase share of wallet, improve product penetration, and strengthen local market execution.
- Lead regular business reviews with dealer leadership teams, identifying opportunities, addressing challenges, and aligning on mutual growth objectives.
- Ensure dealer partners are engaged in Libbey initiatives, promotions, new product launches, training programs, and strategic selling priorities.
- Partner with dealer leadership to identify and resolve profitability, service, competitive, and market-share challenges.
- Maintain strong relationships with key end users, consultants, operators, and influencers throughout the district.
- Support strategic sales calls, customer presentations, trade shows, regional sales meetings, and market-facing activities alongside Territory Sales Managers.
- Monitor district sales performance and use data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities, corrective actions, and performance gaps.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Customer Experience, Pricing, Supply Chain, and other internal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Review, consolidate, and submit credible forecasts of monthly sales volume based on close connections to customer business plans, inventory builds, product mix, and growth objectives.
- Foster a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, customer engagement, continuous improvement, and professional representation of Libbey in the marketplace.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant business experience
- 5-7 years of progressive sales leadership experience within foodservice, hospitality, distribution, or related industries preferred
- Experienced Team Leader/Manager: leading, coaching, and developing sales professionals
- Proven ability to build and manage strategic relationships with dealers, distributors, and key channel partners
- Strong business planning, forecasting, CRM, sales analytics, communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to travel approximately 30-50% throughout the Vegas/Great West District
