Full Job Description
Managing, directing, and coordinating in a professional manner, the total sales efforts of the assigned district. These responsibilities shall include the recruitment, selection, training, and motivation of qualified Chief Dealers so that they have adequate expertise and experience to penetrate the market in their trade area with Chief products. They are also required to enforce the policies of Chief Industries with the Chief Dealers in the assigned district.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of the principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, customer needs assessment, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
  • Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. Effectively articulate the value and quality of Chief Agri's products.
  • Consult with dealers after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
  • Identifying prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
  • Perform administrative duties such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.
  • Ability to obtain credit information about prospective customers.
  • Requires a significant amount of travel on a regular basis throughout the assigned territory.
  • Requires a valid driver's license, having a passport is also strongly preferred.


Education:

  • High School Diploma, or GED, required.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred.
