District Sales Manager for the Americas East. This newly created position reflects the continued growth and importance of Keysight's transactional sales channels and is part of a broader organizational evolution that divides the existing district management responsibilities into dedicated East and West regions.
The District Sales Manager will lead a team of eight Partner Account Managers responsible for driving over
$100M in annual quota-bearing revenue across Keysight's authorized distribution network and e-commerce channel. The role will be responsible for accelerating growth of Keysight's distribution preferred product portfolio, strengthening distributor relationships, driving sales excellence, and developing a high-performing team focused on customer acquisition and revenue expansion.
This leader will collaborate closely with channel partners, sales leadership, product organizations, marketing teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to execute Keysight's go-to-market strategy and deliver sustained business growth throughout the Eastern Americas region.
ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesRevenue Growth & Business Leadership- Lead a team of eight Partner Account Managers responsible for approximately $100M in annual sales quota.
- Develop and execute regional business plans to achieve revenue, growth, and profitability objectives.
- Drive adoption and sales of Keysight's distribution preferred products through authorized distributors and e-commerce channels.
- Identify market opportunities and implement strategies to accelerate growth across targeted accounts, industries, and geographies.
- Monitor business performance, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and key performance indicators.
Channel Partner Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with Keysight's authorized distribution partner sales representatives.
- Ensure distributor alignment with Keysight's strategic initiatives, sales priorities, and growth objectives.
- Collaborate with partner sales leadership teams to develop joint business plans and revenue-generating programs.
- Champion distributor enablement, training, and engagement activities to improve partner effectiveness and market penetration.
Team Leadership & Development- Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop a diverse team of high-performing Partner Account Managers.
- Establish performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching to achieve business objectives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular business reviews and development discussions with team members.
Strategic Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration- Partner closely with regional sales organizations to drive alignment between direct and channel sales strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing, product management, operations, and finance teams to optimize execution and customer experience.
- Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to support business planning and product strategy.
- Lead strategic initiatives that improve channel effectiveness, sales productivity, and business processes.
Operational Excellence- Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and business reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, channel programs, and operational processes.
- Leverage CRM and business intelligence tools to drive data-based decision making and sales execution.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field required.
- 8+ years of sales, channel management, or business development experience within the technology, electronics, test & measurement, or related industries.
- 3+ years of people leadership experience managing quota-carrying sales professionals.
- Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding revenue objectives through indirect sales channels.
- Experience working with distributors, channel partners, and e-commerce business models.
- Strong business acumen, forecasting, and strategic planning skills.
- Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to travel as required throughout the region.
