Description

The District Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue groth, customer retention and overall sales performance within an assigned territory. This role combines individual sales responsibility with sales team leadership, focusing on the devlopment of new business opportunities and the expansion of existing customer relationships. The District Manager serves as a trusted advisor to customers by delivering customized fleet management solutions, including full-service leasing, contract maintenance, commercial truck maintenance and rental services. This postion is in the Sales Department and will report dierctly to the VP of Leasing Sales.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure long-termsatisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through consultative sales of customizedasset management solutions.
  • Promote and sell full-service leasing, contract maintenance, commercial truckmaintenance, and truck rental services.
  • Prepare customer proposals, negotiate agreements, and secure new contracts.• Achieve assigned annual sales and revenue objectives.
  • Maintain accurate customer and prospect information within Sales Gold and othercompany CRM systems.
  • Manage key customer accounts and support long-term account growth strategies.• Review unit cost records, profitability reports, and performance metrics to identifyunderperforming assets and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor lease activity, including additions, expirations, renewals, and account accuracy.• Evaluate rental revenue, utilization, fleet mix, and margin performance on a regular basis.
  • Review expiring leases, mileage variance reports, and operational exception reports toensure•
  • Timely action and customer follow-up.• Review and approve standard rate sheets, contract packages, sales credits, and expensereports in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to sales personnel.• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and retention ofsales team members. Conduct regular performance reviews and help develop individual growth plans.(rev. 9.14.2026 SH)• Partner with Regional Leadership to drive sales strategy and execution. Work closely with Service Managers and Operations teams to resolve customer concernsand identify service improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Rental Department to align sales, marketing, and customer serviceinitiatives.
  • Coordinate internal resources and subject matter experts to support customer presentationsand business development efforts.
  • Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and company presentations throughoutthe year.•
  • Support facility standards by identifying and communicating operational, safety, andappearance-related concerns.
  • Assist regional leadership with special projects and operational initiatives as needed.
  • Coordinate customer-focused presentations, including safety and fleet managementprograms.

  • Proven success in B2B sales, fleet management, transportation, leasing, or relatedindustries.
