Full Job Description
This position reports to:
VP - Service Sales

In this role, you will Lead strategic growth of ABB Motion Services business through a network of 23 District Offices across the US. This role combines sales management and business development, serving as the key liaison between DOs and ABB's internal functions while collaborating with ABB's in-house sales force and channel partners.

The work model for the role is: Remote{#LI-Remote}

This role is contributing to the Motion Services Division in the US.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Strategic & Business Development Work: Setting and executing DO strategy, planning and executing motor partner workshop programs with DOs, developing and refining portfolio expansion strategy, identifying gaps in DO coverage, capability, or performance and creating action plans
  • Communication & Coordination: Regular check-ins and calls with DO managers across the country to review pipeline, opportunities, and blockers, bridging DO needs with internal ABB teams - resolving quoting delays, order issues, or execution challenges, attending internal sales and channel management meetings to represent the DO channel, on-site visits to DOs for relationship building, reviews, and joint customer calls
  • Sales Management: Coaching DOs on specific deals, helping prioritize and strategize on larger opportunities, reviewing and monitoring pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and order intake across the network, preparing and reviewing sales reports for VP of Sales
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop direct team of 1 manager and 5 employees, provide strategic direction and support to 23 indirect DO locations, drive alignment, engagement, and accountability across a geographically distributed and extended sales organization.

  • Valid US work authorization; willingness to travel as needed.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $119,000 and $190,400 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
