What will you be doing? - Recruit, hire and manage a high performing team
- Lead and coach representatives in effectively communicating product value, clinical and non-clinical information, and appropriate product use, while ensuring interactions remain aligned with approved materials and client requirements.
- Drive execution of account engagement strategies by coaching representatives on how to build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across existing customer accounts.
- Set strategic direction for account planning and customer engagement, ensuring representatives leverage customer insights, identify barriers, and develop actionable strategies that move customer conversations forward.
- Ensure consistent delivery of appropriate patient access and product education resources, coaching representatives on when and how to appropriately address access, reimbursement, patient assistance, and product-related questions and when to triage to designated experts.
- Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration across multispecialty accounts, including accounts with CE overlap, ensuring representatives appropriately identify needs and coordinate with relevant client stakeholders such as Case Managers, MSLs, and other internal partners.
- Leverage digital tools, data, and performance insights to identify trends, assess team effectiveness, and coach representatives on opportunities to improve HCP engagement, patient access, and the overall customer experience.
- Apply systems thinking to team and territory strategy, helping representatives understand the interdependencies across providers, health systems, pharmacies, payers, and care teams and translate those insights into coordinated customer engagement strategies.
- Monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback, using activity, quality, customer, and business metrics to reinforce strengths, address performance gaps, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure team adherence to all Inizio and client policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and engagement standards, proactively identifying and addressing risks or inconsistencies in execution.
- Partner closely with client leadership and internal Inizio stakeholders to align team priorities, communicate field insights, remove barriers to execution, and ensure delivery against program objectives.
What do you need for this position? - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University
- Ability to influence team member activities
- At least 10 years of sales management experience within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Healthcare Industry is required with proven ability to develop and motivate others, lead through change, and deliver on set objectives.
- Ophthalmology or Immunology experience is highly preferred
- Ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high quality team
- A deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
- Lead a team and reinforce strong account management skills - i.e., the ability to work an account to include health systems/urgent care centers/pharmacies to gain access and support pull through
- Product launch experience preferred
- Must consistently demonstrate sound judgment and strategic decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational and analytical skills are also required and ability to analyze and draw appropriate conclusions using sales and call reporting data
- Professional, proactive demeanor
- Ability to interpret and utilize business data to drive positive business results
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build business relationships
- Results-driven with exceptional attention-to-detail and knowledge around metrics
- Overnight travel may be required (depending on geographical location)
The base pay range for this position is $119K - $221K per year. The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
