Full Job Description
Recognized as an industry-leading expert in FEOL/MEOL integration for Advanced CMOS Logic. Serves as a top technical authority responsible for defining technology strategy, shaping multi-year roadmaps, and driving breakthrough innovations that influence Applied Materials' competitive position and customer success. Leads cross-functional and cross-business-unit initiatives to solve the industry's most complex integration challenges. Progression to this level is restricted based on business requirements and demonstrated industry impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical authority and integration lead for FEOL/MEOL technology development for Advanced CMOS Logic.
  • Define and drive long-term integration strategy and roadmap aligned with future logic node requirements and customer technology needs.
  • Lead development and deployment of breakthrough process technologies that address critical customer High Value Problems (HVPs).
  • Drive cross-BU co-optimization and Integrated Materials Solutions (IMS) strategies to enable differentiated customer outcomes.
  • Identify emerging technology trends, scaling challenges, and competitive threats; translate insights into Applied Materials technology direction and investment priorities.
  • Lead the resolution of the most complex integration, yield, performance, reliability, and manufacturability challenges.
  • Partner directly with strategic customers, technology partners, and senior technical leaders to influence roadmap decisions and accelerate technology adoption.
  • Represent Applied Materials in external technical forums, industry conferences, consortia, and customer engagements.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior engineers, MTS, and Sr. MTS staff, strengthening Applied's technical community and capabilities.
  • Lead research and development of next-generation technologies that create significant business value through revenue growth, market share expansion, customer penetration, and accelerated time-to-market.
  • Conceive, invent, and implement innovative technologies resulting in significant patent portfolios, publications, technical recognition, and industry impact.
  • Drive adoption of advanced data analytics, modeling, and AI-enabled approaches to accelerate learning cycles and technical decision-making.
  • Generate and present high-impact technical documentation, publications, white papers, customer presentations, and technology reviews.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
