The Dispensing Pharmacist is a registered Pharmacist who is responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medications to patients. The Dispensing Pharmacist's work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
Shift: Sunday - Thursday 5:30PM to 2:00AM.
Location: This is an onsite role. 9843 Windisch Road, West Chester Twp, OH 45069
Scope of Role and Responsibilities
Participate in preparation of prescriptions via a highly automated system Verify for completeness and accuracy all new and refill labels and orders including new and refill Braille and Talking Vial orders
Verify for content and accuracy all drug packaging and labeling
Partner with fellow healthcare team members
Ensure compliance with legal requirements within pharmacy
Research medication issues, ensure accurate resolution, and provide guidance to team members and member clients when needed
Other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications
Bachelors of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
Licensed as a Pharmacist in Ohio
Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.
Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group.
Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving.
Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive.
Excellent communication skills
Proficient with computers
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years' experience in a high-volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment
Experience in a high volume mail order and/or retail setting
Licensed as a Pharmacist in California
Physical Requirements
Pharmacist must be able to tolerate, handle, and work around all pharmaceutical products throughout worktime
Pharmacist must have dexterity to continuously twist and grasp items throughout worktime
Pharmacist must be able to stand 50-100% of worktime, lift up to 30lbs as needed, frequently reach, bend, stoop, and squat throughout worktime
Pharmacists are solely responsible for processing and verifying all braille and talking labels, which come out of dispensing during worktime.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$104,000 - $143,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
