Job Description:

Directory Services System Administrator

  • Proven ability in managing, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and updating Active Directory services and hybrid authentication systems.
  • Provide support in managing identity, access, authentication, and centralized resource management systems and platforms.
  • Resolve technical issues, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of directory services under guidance or as part of a team.
  • Utilize automation and orchestration tools for streamlined maintenance and monitoring of directory services systems.
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies to enhance the directory services environment


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Directory Services System Administrator must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Active Directory services architecture and management, Group Policy management, domain controller management, security configurations, AD Schema, PowerShell and PKI.
  • Understanding of system security, authentication protocols, and access control methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure/AWS Admin, Azure/AWS Security, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, MCSE)


REQUIRED

  • Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret and SCI eligible
  • Location: Onsite
  • Required: US Citizenship
  • Required: DoD 8140 IAT II compliant


The likely salary range for this position is $103,700 - $140,300. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
