Responsibilities

  • Design and build wholesale revenue models that align with sales strategies and evaluate value and opportunity costs.
  • Manage the Channel/Rep/Customer forecast tracking tools ensuring alignment between teams.
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze key sales performance metrics including revenue and inventory levels.
  • Execute the sales forecasting and budgeting process with commercial and finance teams.
  • Identify and quantify risks and opportunities from order-book and sell-through trends early enough for proactive actions.
  • Build and manage the wholesale BI reporting and analytics suite with tech support for internal and external teams.
  • Prepare and communicate channel performance updates to leadership regularly.
  • Create visually appealing reports and dashboards that simplify complex data for actionable insights.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Wholesale Sales Planning and Analytics Director to join our team. This role will be responsible for executing and monitoring sell through analytics sales trends for the channel as well as the development and execution of sales plans and strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of wholesale sales operations, experience in sales/sell-through analytics along with a vast history collaborating with Finance and Merchandise Planning organizations.

What you'll get to do:
  • Design and build wholesale revenue models that align with overall wholesale sales strategies in coordination with Finance and Merchandise Planning teams as well as evaluate the value and opportunity costs of these initiatives.
  • Responsible for building and managing the Channel/Rep/Customer forecast tracking tools while ensuring alignment between Wholesale, Finance, and Merchandising Planning teams.
  • Develop, monitor and analyze the key sales performance metrics including but not limited to revenue, margin, inventory levels, brand ranking within the entire channel including the Majors and Key Customers as well as specialty channel.
  • Responsible for the execution of sales forecasting and budgeting process in coordination with commercial and finance deliverables.
  • Leverage order-book and sell-through trends to identify and quantify risk and opportunity across the channel by flagging at-risk revenue and unmet-demand opportunities early enough for the business to act.
  • With support and in coordination with the tech organization, build out and manage the development of the wholesale BI reporting and analytics suite that will support both internal and external sales teams on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and seasonal basis.
  • Build presentations and communicate weekly, monthly and quarterly channel performance updates to leadership team
  • Create visually appealing and informative reports and dashboards that present complex data in a way that is easy to understand and actionable.
  • Will drive special projects and provide analytical support as needed for wholesale and cross functional teams as needed.


Qualifications

Who you are:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, statistics or related field preferred.
  • 10+ Years of experience in sales planning and analytics and 5+ years of people management
  • Experience working with large data sets and analytics tools like SPS Analytics, MicroStrategy, and Power BI, Python experience preferred.
  • Expert in Excel and all MS office products
  • Experience working with modern ERP systems and supporting sales planning processes and tools, MS Dynamics 365 preferred.
  • Strong leadership, management background with proven track record
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

The salary range for this role is $160,000 per year - $200,000 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
