Full Job Description
The Director, Levi's Women's Wholesale Planning is responsible for leading the strategy, pre-season and in-season forecasting, inventory investment decisions, and driving the overall financial performance of the Levi's4 Women's Wholesale business. As a planning leader, you will translate business strategy into actionable financial and inventory plans that drive profitable growth, optimize inventory productivity, and support long-term brand and category expansion. You will partner closely with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, Inventory Management to influence business decisions, identify growth opportunities, and deliver financial commitments across multiple customers, product categories, and channels. Reporting to the Senior Director, US Wholesale Planning, this role leads a high-performing team of planning professionals and serves as a key representative of the Women's business in executive forums, influencing decisions that impact a significant portion of the U.S. Wholesale business. About the Job Lead Women's Wholesale Planning Strategy 3 Develop and execute financial, inventory, and demand plans that support growth, profitability, and long-term business objectives. 3 Create forecasting strategies that balance consumer demand, account opportunities, inventory productivity, and financial targets. 3 Translate company and category strategies into actionable planning frameworks that drive profitable growth. Own Forecasting and Investment Decisions 3 Lead revenue, unit, margin, and inventory forecasting across the Women's Wholesale and Premium businesses. 3 Make investment recommendations that align business priorities with consumer demand and growth opportunities. 3 Identify risks and opportunities and build action plans to deliver financial commitments. Drive Business Performance 3 Monitor and analyze sales trends, inventory productivity, and account performance. 3 Lead scenario planning and business reviews that inform strategic decision-making. 3 Recommend actions to improve revenue, inventory health, profitability, and execution across the business. Lead Cross-Functional Planning 3 Partner with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, and Retail partners to align business strategies and investment decisions. 3 Influence assortment, inventory, and commercial decisions through data-driven recommendations. 3 Drive alignment on priorities, risks, opportunities, and execution plans. Manage a Complex and High-Growth Portfolio 3 Lead planning across multiple high growth accounts and product categories. 3 Balance short-term performance objectives with long-term growth investments. 3 Support the continued expansion of Women's and Premium businesses through disciplined planning and strategic investment management. Develop Talent and Build Organizational Capability 3 Lead, coach, and develop a team of planning professionals. 3 Establish clear priorities, accountability, and development plans. 3 Foster a culture of collaboration, curiosity, innovation, and performance. Influence Executive Decision-Making 3 Present business performance, strategic opportunities, financial risks, and growth recommendations to senior leadership. 3 Represent the Women's business in leadership forums and cross-functional reviews. 3 Influence decisions that impact revenue, inventory investment, and profitability. About You 3 Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field. 3 10+ years of experience in merchandise planning, demand planning, inventory management, financial planning, retail or wholesale business management, or related functions. 3 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams. 3 Experience leading large, complex businesses with accountability for revenue, inventory, and profitability outcomes. 3 Proven ability to drive results through cross-functional partnerships. 3 Experience presenting business strategies and recommendations to senior and executive leadership. 3 Deep expertise in retail and wholesale planning, forecasting, inventory management, and financial analysis. 3 Strong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory optimization, assortment planning, and Open-to-Buy concepts. 3 Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations. 3 Strong financial acumen across revenue, margin, inventory productivity, and investment management. 3 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BI tools. 3 Experience working with planning, forecasting, and inventory management systems. 3 Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills. This is a hybrid work schedule based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs. The expected starting salary range for this role is $167,300 - $245,400 per yearWe may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs. Levi Strauss & Co.
