Job DescriptionTurner & Townsend is seeking an experienced
Director - Variable Project Delivery to lead the strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from small-scale tenant improvements and workplace initiatives to large capital projects and complex programmatic work. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of project management services across variable project types, ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction, team development, and business growth.
The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with strong business acumen, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams in dynamic project environments.
Qualifications- Lead and develop Project Managers and project delivery teams to ensure successful execution of variable project portfolios.
- Oversee the delivery of multiple concurrent projects and programs, ensuring alignment with client objectives, budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
- Establish and maintain project governance, controls, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics.
- Drive operational excellence through consistent project management methodologies, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the executive point of contact for key clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Provide strategic guidance on project risks, issues, resource planning, and stakeholder management.
- Lead business development activities, including client engagement, proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Manage portfolio financial performance, including forecasting, profitability, revenue targets, and resource utilization.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and operational metrics to drive performance and business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems, risk management procedures, corporate governance requirements, and industry standards.
- Support talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee development, and succession planning initiatives.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning across the organization.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Turner & Townsend and support market growth initiatives within Variable Project Delivery services.
