POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Value Analysis - Clinical provides strategic leadership, oversight, and execution of all value analysis activities across the health system. This role is accountable for driving clinically appropriate, evidence-based product utilization, standardization, and cost optimization initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational quality, safety, and financial objectives. The Director partners with executive leadership, physicians, nursing, and operational teams to identify, evaluate, and implement system-wide initiatives that improve patient outcomes, reduce clinical variation, and optimize total cost of care.

This position leads the Value Analysis Program, including governance structures (e.g., Product Evaluation Committees), and ensures integration with Supply Chain, Finance, Clinical Operations, and Quality. The Director is responsible for delivering measurable financial savings, enhancing contract compliance, and advancing data-driven decision-making related to clinical products, services, and technologies.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Minimum of seven years of clinical experience required, 10 years preferred in a healthcare setting. Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in value analysis , supply chain, or clinical operations.

LICENSURE
Current license from the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of Texas to practice as a registered nurse is required.
