Full Job Description
Megabrand Strategy & Growth Leadership:
  • Lead development of U.S. megabrand strategies for Cetaphil and Differin, translating consumer and market understanding into actionable growth plans.
  • Partner with Brand, Commercial, Media, HCP, and Global teams to shape long-range strategic direction and annual business planning.
  • Identify portfolio, category, and whitespace opportunities that accelerate penetration, household growth, and market share.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to Marketing Leadership and the U.S. Leadership Team on key business decisions, growth opportunities, and enterprise initiatives.
  • Support strategic assessments of new business opportunities, partnerships, acquisitions, and emerging market trends.


Consumer & Market Intelligence:
  • Lead the U.S. Consumer and Market Insights function, establishing a best-in-class learning agenda that informs brand, innovation, and commercial decisions.
  • Translate consumer, shopper, retailer, dermatologist, and category insights into clear recommendations that influence action.
  • Oversee foundational learning programs including Brand Health Tracking, segmentation, category architecture, innovation testing, communication development, and claims validation.
  • Monitor competitive activity, category trends, and emerging consumer behaviors to identify risks and opportunities.


Insights-to-Action Leadership:
  • Ensure insights are translated into strategic recommendations rather than remaining isolated as research outputs.
  • Partner with Brand teams to shape communication strategies, innovation pipelines, positioning frameworks, and go-to-market plans.
  • Drive adoption of insights across the organization through compelling storytelling, executive presentations, and clear business recommendations.
  • Build frameworks that connect consumer understanding to business performance and investment decisions.


Measurement & Marketing Effectiveness:
  • Lead marketing measurement capabilities including Commercial Mix Modeling, Brand Health, incrementality, media effectiveness, and business performance tracking.
  • Establish integrated measurement frameworks that provide a holistic view of brand and business health.
  • Translate complex data into actionable recommendations that optimize marketing investments and accelerate growth.


Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence:
  • Serve as a highly collaborative partner across Brand, Commercial, Media, Sales, HCP, Innovation, Finance, and Global teams.
  • Align stakeholders around strategic priorities and create clarity in complex business situations.
  • Foster an insight-led culture by embedding consumer-centric thinking into business planning and decision-making.
  • Mentor and develop team members while building organizational capability in strategic thinking and consumer understanding.


Success Measures:
  • Increased brand penetration, equity, and market share across Cetaphil and Differin.
  • Strong adoption of insights and strategy recommendations across the organization.
  • Improved effectiveness of marketing investments and business decision-making.
  • Identification of new growth opportunities, innovation platforms, and strategic priorities.
  • High levels of cross-functional engagement, trust, and influence.
  • Development of a best-in-class insights and strategy capability for the U.S. business.


Education, Knowledge, Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in consumer marketing, brand strategy, category management, consumer insights, consulting, or related strategic leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success influencing business strategy through consumer, shopper, and marketplace understanding.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong strategic planning and growth strategy capabilities.
  • Experience with consumer research methodologies, segmentation, brand health, innovation development, and marketing effectiveness measurement.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to translate complexity into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen.
  • Beauty, skincare, health, wellness, OTC, or adjacent consumer packaged goods experience preferred.
