Director U.S. Marketing, HCC Strategy, Atherosclerosis

As part of this mission, we are evolving how we educate, engage, and activate patients throughout the patient journey. We are currently recruiting for Director U.S. Marketing, HCC Strategy, Atherosclerosis. This role will be accountable for comprehensive HCC strategy, including holistic HCC experience and activation plan, end-to-end Direct to Patient (DtP) strategy, and health equity initiatives.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep consumer marketing expertise, the ability to navigate complexity to drive decision-making, and effectively collaborate across the team and organization to deliver performance. This is a highly visible U.S. Pharma marketing role requiring strong product ownership, launch leadership, external marketplace understanding, and the ability to lead across a complex matrix. This position will be part of the HCC Customer Agile team and will report to the Executive Director, U.S. Commercial Leader, Atherosclerosis and will be based in the Upper Gwynedd, PA office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive HCC strategy, experience and activation plan

  • Build integrated, patient centered experience that support education, access, affordability, fulfillment, and ongoing engagement

  • Establish governance, decision forums, KPI reviews, and performance routines to support continuous optimization and ensure accountability for business and patient experience outcomes

  • Bring external marketplace perspective on pharma direct-to-patient models, digital health, consumer engagement, telehealth, pharmacy fulfillment, patient support, and emerging access models.

  • Own the end-to-end Direct to Patient strategy for Atherosclerosis, ensuring the capability supports launch objectives, patient access needs, and the broader Atherosclerosis marketing strategy.

  • Serve as the brand leader for DtP, including roadmap development, prioritization, decision-making, launch readiness, performance management, and cross-functional execution.

  • Lead integrated launch readiness for DtP, including milestone tracking, risk identification, issue resolution, dependency management, and escalation of key decisions

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across marketing, access, payer marketing, customer experience, digital, analytics, legal, compliance, privacy, medical, supply chain, training, and external partners

  • Operate effectively in an agile model, translating strategic priorities into clear outcomes, backlog priorities, sprint goals, and cross-functional deliverables

  • Partner with Product Marketing Owners to drive transparency, coordination, and prioritization across the team

Education

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent (BA/BS). MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Requirements

  • Significant consumer marketing, patient access, digital health, product ownership, or platform-based solution experience.

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to own strategy, roadmap, launch execution, budget, forecasting, performance management, and cross-functional delivery for complex initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare access, affordability, pharmacy fulfillment, patient support, digital engagement, and regulatory/compliance considerations.

  • Experience translating brand strategy into operational capabilities and measurable execution plans.

  • Strong external orientation with ability to assess emerging consumer engagement, DtP, digital health, telehealth, and pharmacy marketplace trends.

  • Ability to lead in a matrixed environment and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, decision quality, communication skills, and comfort operating in ambiguity.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience building or scaling Direct-to-Patient, patient support, digital access, e-commerce, platform, or consumer-facing healthcare capabilities.

  • Experience with vendor/partner management, capability build, operational readiness, and performance optimization.

  • Familiarity with patient journey analytics, digital funnel performance, experimentation, CRM, consent/data capture, and omnichannel engagement.

  • Experience shaping enterprise capabilities through a lead brand deployment model.

  • Experience working in agile ways of working, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, outcome definition, and iterative delivery.

  • Pharmaceutical experience preferred.

The salary range for this role is

$190,800.00 - $300,300.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
