Job Description:

The Director, Technology Utilization & Commercial Enablement operates at the intersection of product, sales, and customer success, translating technology capabilities into scalable go-to-market strategies and commercial outcomes. This individual will lead a global team focused on sales execution, dealer enablement, and customer adoption, partnering closely with product, engineering, and regional teams to accelerate commercialization and maximize customer value realization.

What You Will Do:

Lead Global Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution
  • Define and execute global sales strategies for Caterpillar's digital and embedded technology portfolio within the construction segment.
  • Drive achievement of revenue, adoption, and market share targets for technology-enabled solutions.
  • Align product positioning, pricing, and commercialization strategies with customer needs and market dynamics.


Drive Customer Adoption & Value Realization
  • Champion increased utilization of embedded and digital technologies across the installed base.
  • Develop programs that clearly articulate and quantify customer value (productivity, safety, ROI).
  • Ensure customers and dealers are equipped to maximize return on technology investments.


Lead Sales Enablement & Dealer Capability
  • Build and scale global sales enablement strategies, tools, and training that equip internal teams and dealers to effectively sell and support technology solutions.
  • Establish best practices for consultative, value-based selling of digital products.
  • Partner with regional and dealer leadership to drive consistent execution and capability maturity.


Commercialize Technology Solutions
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure solutions are market-ready and aligned to customer workflows.
  • Lead launch strategies for new digital capabilities and enhancements.
  • Translate complex technical offerings into clear, differentiated customer value propositions.


Strengthen Customer & Partner Ecosystem
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and internal stakeholders to accelerate adoption.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience, satisfaction, and long-term loyalty.
  • Serve as a senior advocate for customer needs in product and commercial decisions.


Identify Growth Opportunities
  • Drive expansion into new use cases, applications, and customer segments.
  • Leverage data and insights to identify adoption gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Develop scalable models to increase penetration of technology across fleets and job sites.

Summary Pay Range:

$189,080.00 - $283,630.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
