Broad Function
The Director, Technical Services & Technology provides strategic leadership for the Technical Services and Technology department, driving modernization across operations and advancing enterprise-wide digital capabilities. This role is responsible for ensuring that technology solutions, project delivery systems, and technical services directly support field execution, meet customer expectations, and align with Brock's long-term business objectives.
The position oversees technology services, CAD design, data analytics, and system optimization initiatives to enhance project performance, eliminate operational deficiencies, improve productivity, and strengthen the organization's overall competitive advantage.
Essential Functions
• Promote, demonstrate and instill Brock's Bsafe and Bbest culture in all aspects of the business
• Lead the strategic development and execution of Brock's multi-year technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth initiatives.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and overall project performance.
• Champion enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, driving innovation and adoption across all business units.
• Oversee project delivery platforms to ensure data accuracy, process consistency, and the elimination of operational inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with Operations, Project Controls, and HSE to align technology solutions with field execution and customer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through workflow automation, system integration, and process optimization.
• Direct enterprise reporting and analytics strategy, including governance and development of Power BI dashboards and data standards.
• Ensure real-time visibility into project performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational trends to support data-driven decision-making.
• Lead data integration and management initiatives across systems to establish a unified, reliable data environment.
• Manage CAD design functions supporting scaffolding, insulation, coatings, and specialty services to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Establish and enforce standards for CAD modeling accuracy, drawing quality, and timely delivery to support project planning and execution.
• Standardize CAD workflows, tools, and documentation practices across the organization.
• Oversee enterprise software systems, licensing, integrations, and vendor relationships to ensure optimal performance and value.
• Ensure system reliability, cybersecurity compliance, and alignment with corporate IT policies and standards.
• Manage technology budgets, procurement processes, and lifecycle planning for hardware and software assets.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Technical Services and Technology team.
• Drive user adoption through effective training, communication, and change management strategies for new tools and processes.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-focused service delivery.
Working Conditions
• Working conditions include outdoor and indoor field, yard and shop locations.
• Working indoors in an office environment
• Utilization of Personal Protective Equipment is necessary.
• Frequent travel as required to meet the needs of Brock operations
Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD platforms.

• Experience with ERP, project controls, scheduling, and field-execution systems.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, API integrations, and data-interoperability frameworks.
• Understanding of Azure, O365, networking, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Familiarity with workflow automation and low-code platforms.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (master's preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership, ideally in industrial services, construction, or engineering.
• Demonstrated success implementing enterprise technology solutions and driving organizational change.
• Experience managing technical teams, vendors, and multi-site technology operations.
