Full Job Description
Summary of Role:

Leads the organization's talent acquisition strategy to attract, hire, and retain top talent in support of the Credit Union's business strategy, values, and culture. This role partners closely with senior leadership, Employee Experience, and hiring managers to deliver scalable, data-driven recruiting solutions that meet both immediate and long-term workforce needs.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute the organization's talent acquisition strategy in partnership with senior leadership, Employee Experience, and hiring managers to meet current and long-term workforce needs using data-driven insights.
  • Oversee and optimize the full-cycle recruiting process, ensuring scalable, efficient, and high-quality hiring outcomes through continuous assessment and improvement of systems, tools, and practices.
  • Lead strategic sourcing and external partnerships to build diverse talent pipelines and advance the employer brand in partnership with Marketing.
  • Design and deliver training, tools, and best practices that enable hiring managers and interviewers to make objective, compliant, and informed hiring decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory requirements, including affirmative action obligations, document retention, and required EEO-1 and VETS-4212 submissions.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for the talent acquisition team, building a high-performing, accountable function aligned with organizational values.
  • Partner with HRBP and HR Operations teams to maintain accurate job descriptions and ensure timely updates within Workday.
  • Collaborate with Talent Development to ensure a consistent onboarding experience.
  • Deliver actionable hiring, workforce, and compliance reporting to support Employee Experience programs, regulatory requirements, leadership decision-making, and strategies to improve retention and the employee experience.
  • ,Manage recruitment vendors, create and maintain oversight of the talent acquisition budget, and ensure operational readiness, including disaster recovery planning and support of Employee Experience projects and initiatives.


Minimum Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field. Minimum eight (8) to ten (10) years of human resources leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five (5)+ years of experience leading/directing the talent acquisition function.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification or HRCI certification (PHR, SPHR).
  • Experience successfully managing a high performing team of recruitment professionals, and leading recruitment/hiring process improvement.
  • Knowledge of federal/state HR laws and compliance regulations, along with NCUA regulations and Credit Union policies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and HR technology applications (e.g., ATS, HRIS).
  • Ability to interpret financial data, including key ratios, balance sheets, and budget variances, and apply to HR initiatives.
  • Effective planning and project management skills.
  • Strong training and presentation delivery skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (i.e., verbal, written, auditory) and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.


Compensation: $97,371-$126,582, plus a competitive benefits package
