JOB SUMMARY: This position provides strategic leadership for divisionwide programs and services that support English Learners (ELs), multilingual families, world languages, federal programs, and related student opportunity initiatives. Oversees the planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of instructional programs, professional learning, family engagement efforts, and support services designed to promote student achievement, language development, and educational equity. The Director provides leadership for curriculum development, implementation, evaluation, and revision for assigned programs and oversees the administration, compliance, and fiscal management of federal programs, including Title I, Title III, and Title IV. The position provides leadership oversight of the Division's Global Welcome Center, central registration services for international families, and translation and interpretation services to ensure equitable access to educational opportunities, programs, and information. Works collaboratively with school and division leaders, community partners, and state and federal agencies to ensure program effectiveness, compliance, and continuous improvement. This position works under the direction of the Associate Superintendent for Teaching and Learning.
