Full Job Description
As Director of Strategic Programs & Transformation, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of the Diagnostics business. You will lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that improve operational performance, optimize business processes, and drive strategic growth across a global organization. The PMO is an excellence hub for managing strategic and complex internal programs.  Areas of focus include end-to-end process enhancement, portfolio and footprint optimization, reorganization, and new operating model establishment. The setup allows for a very flexible and efficient approach for identifying and prioritizing PMO initiatives to achieve the highest top and bottom-line impact for the business. Your role:
  • You will be responsible for leading projects from planning to implementation, incl. projects in the areas of process optimization, reorganization, portfolio and footprint rationalization, and establishment of new operating models.
  • You will work globally, across business lines and functions, and find optimal solutions for the Diagnostics Business Area and Siemens Healthineers, overall.
  • You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior Diagnostics leaders, influencing strategic decisions and helping shape the future direction of the business.
  • You collaborate with support of the PMO Head with senior leadership to identify improvement opportunities and to develop project roadmaps to leverage those.
  • You blend the strategic mindset of a leader with the practical skills of a Project Manager to translate high-level business goals into concrete projects.
  • You find creative solutions to complex problems, ensuring successful project outcomes that contribute significantly to the organization's success.
  • You will report to the Head of the Project Management Office and interface with the Diagnostics Management.
Your expertise:
  • You have proven project management skills, preferably gained in large scale improvement and transformation projects.
  • You can lead high-complexity projects and create impact in a global matrix organization.
  • You are result oriented, enjoy cross-functional teamwork, and you know how to drive change and stakeholder management to achieve lasting project outcomes.
  • You have strong leadership and communication skills to drive change on various hierarchy levels and across functions, businesses, and geographies.
  • You have excellent analytics, conceptual, and creative problem-solving skills combined with an 9getting things done9 mindset.
Requirements:
  • You have a Bachelor9s degree and an MBA or other advanced science / engineering degree.
  • You bring 10+ years of professional experience, including significant experience leading enterprise transformation, business optimization, strategy, or operational excellence initiatives within a consulting firm, healthcare organization, industrial company, or similarly complex global environment.
  • Project Management and Continuous Improvement certificates are preferred, incl. e.g., PMP, LEAN Six Sigma, etc.
  • You are willing to travel up to 10%.
#LI-BH1 The base pay range for this position is: $154,180 - $212,003 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
